Meet Mark Howman & Nick Griffin
It all started on a hot and sweaty night in Mumbai in late 2014, two middle aged men, two cold beers (yes only two), and a crazy idea. Nick had read about the Mumbai Express Rickshaw Challenge and had wanted to compete in the race for years... the only problem, he had no friends crazy enough to take part with him. Enter Mark... all of a sudden, the adventure looked like it might happen... and Team Em+En was born.
Now in 'normal life', Mark and Nick are part of a team that front the world leader in financial services brand, retail and customer experience design, allen international. Nick from Dubai, and Mark from London.
Travel is a part of every day life and being on the road, meeting clients and delivering awesome solutions for banks and telecoms companies around the world is what they do, in some of the worlds most challenging and exciting markets.
But the Mumbai Express Rickshaw Challenge, raises the 'adventure bar' to whole new level. Full of excitement and anticipation, Nick and Mark annouced to the world that they are going to compete in the race. The reaction of our friends ranged from pure shock and horror, to nervous admiration.
The adventure we are about to embark on will leave Mumbai on 8th August 2015, pass through Alibad, Pune, Mahabaleshwar, Ratnagiri, Panaji, Bhatkal, Mangalore, Mysore, Bangalore, Vellore, before ending in Chennai on 21st August 2015.
